Arun District Council have granted a road closure order on Sunday 17 September 2023 to allow the parade for Mayor’s Sunday to safely navigate the roads from Mill Road car park to Arundel Cathedral, via the Town Hall, and back again.
A road closure will be in place at Mill Road, Upper/Lower High Street (including access to Tarrant Street), Maltravers Street/New Cut, London Road during the following times:
Approx. 13:30-14:00 – Procession to the Cathedral
Approx. 15:00-15:30 – Procession from the Cathedral
The road closures will be in place for as little time during these periods as is safely possible. The Road Closure Order and Procession route can be viewed/downloaded below:
