The Norfolk Estate and Savills (Project Team) are working together to bring forward proposals to develop land at Ford Road with 90 new homes (including 30% Affordable Homes), a community building and public open space as set out in the 2019 -2031 Arundel Neighbourhood Plan.

A Public Consultation invitation has been sent to all households in Arundel – you can view it here or visit the consultation website for more information: https://fordroad.consultationonline.co.uk/

To ensure they provide a safe and inclusive consultation within the current Covid-19 restrictions, the Project Team is undertaking a virtual consultation

The consultation website is now live, but the detailed proposals will be added from Thursday 13th August to Thursday 3rd September, when the site will also be open for comments.

There will also be an opportunity to book to attend a socially distanced drop-in session.

In addition to the virtual consultation, the Project Team will also be holding socially distanced drop-in sessions for residents and stakeholders who want to discuss the proposals in person on Wednesday 19th August 2020 and Thursday 20th August 2020.

They will take place in The Atherley Chamber, which is the large upstairs Georgian chamber at Arundel Town Hall, Maltravers St, Arundel BN18 9AP.

In order to comply with Government guidelines regarding the Coronavirus, these sessions will be arranged on an appointment-only basis and will be conducted at a social distance. Other COVID-secure measures, including the provision of hand sanitiser and the provision of face masks, will also be in place to ensure your safety.

Places must be booked in advance and can be done so by calling the freephone information line on 0800 298 7040 or emailing thenorfolkestate@becg.com.

The Project Team would very much like your feedback on the proposals, so please do go to the website or book a place for a drop-in session, once the consultation is live from 13th August. If you have any queries in the meantime, please do not hesitate to get in touch with them.
