Join Arundel Town Council on the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne to ‘Plant a Tree for the Queen’s Jubilee’.
A commemorative tree providing year-round interest for residents and visitors to Jubilee Gardens is being planted as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy – a unique tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
Lancing Brass will play from 11.15am to celebrate the occasion. The Mayor of Arundel will make a speech at 12 noon followed by the tree planting and readings by children from ACE, St Philip’s and 1st Arundel Scout Group.
Lancing Brass will continue with a selection of music after the tree has been planted – why not make a day of it and explore Arundel’s fantastic independent shops and its many restaurants, pubs and cafés.
