Funding the Town Manager

Some residents have asked whether Arundel should be funding a Town Manager.

The answer is that the Town Council will fund this role initially, in order to ‘prime the pump’ and  get it up and running. However we anticipate that within 2-3 years the Town Manager will generate sufficient income for the role to be self-funding. In addition the Town Manager will be exploring the many grants, large and small, that are available for regeneration initiatives in heritage towns like Arundel.
