Arundel Town Council will not be in a financial position to accept grant applications for the 2024 /25 financial year. The Council has needed to accommodate rising inflation, an increase in costs and given the backdrop of the current cost of living situation, the Council were reluctant to increase the precept paid by residents to such a level as to fully recover all these costs, therefore discretionary expenditure; specifically the Grants Scheme, has been reviewed and a decision made to pause this scheme for the next financial year.
During the 2023/24 Financial year, Arundel Town Council has provided over £20,000 worth of grants to a number of local organisations, including environmental groups, charities, local Scouts and Guides and many others. We will review the Grants Scheme for the 2025/2026 financial year.
