“Driven off the streets by Covid-19, the 42nd Arundel Festival refused to be suppressed and simply took to YouTube. We are deeply grateful to Sharon Blaikie and her team and to all the people who enabled a town with 3,500 residents stage such a spectacular 11-days of virtual entertainment, including our Town Crier who launched the event so splendidly at the virtual Opening Ceremony. People all over the UK and around the world have seen our festival and our town, and we hope that when Covid-19 is behind us they will visit Arundel and come to our festival.”
