A-one+, on behalf of Highways England will be carrying out the refreshment of white lining and stud replacement along the A27 between Tangmere Roundabout and Clapham Interchange.
In order to carry out these works as efficiently and safely as possible, work will be carried out under phased overnight full carriageway closures between 8pm and 6am from Monday 8 June 2020 to Wednesday 24 June 2020.

Emergency vehicles will be provided with access through the works at all times.
Residents with access only from the A27 between the closure points will be provided with escorted access, though there may be a short wait whilst the works area is made safe.

Diversions: Clearly signed diversion will be in place suitable for all types of vehicles.
Tangmere Roundabout to Fontwell West Roundabout – Eastbound Diversion: Vehicles wishing to join the A27 at Tangmere Roundabout to travel eastbound will be diverted westbound on the A27 to Portfield Roundabout. Continue on the A27 Chichester Bypass to the next roundabout, taking the 1st exit to join the A259 Bognor Road. Continue on the A259 Bognor road, North Bersted Bypass and Rowan Way. At the roundabout take the 1st exit to join the A29 northbound. Follow the A29 to re-join the A29 at Fontwell west Roundabout to continue their journey eastbound.
Westbound Diversion: Follow the above diversion in reverse.
Fontwell West to Fontwell East Roundabout – Eastbound Diversion: Vehicles travelling eastbound on the A27 will be diverted off at Fontwell West Roundabout southbound onto the A29. Follow the A29 to Shripney. At the 1st roundabout take the 1st exit to Join the A259, Felpham Relief Road. Continue eastbound on the A259 to Wick to join the A284 northbound to re-join the A27 at Crossbush Roundabout. Vehicles can then follow the A27 north to Ford Roundabout to continue westbound on the A27 towards Fontwell East roundabout.

Fontwell East Roundabout to Ford Roundabout – Vehicles travelling eastbound on the A27 will be diverted off at Fontwell West Roundabout southbound onto the A29. Follow the A29 to Shripney. At the 1st roundabout take the 1st exit to Join the A259, Felpham Relief Road. Continue eastbound on the A259 to Wick to join the A284 northbound to re-join the A27 at Crossbush Roundabout. Vehicles can then follow the A27 north to Ford Roundabout.

Local Diversion for Jarvis Road: Take Pearson Road, Torton Hill Road and Kirdford road to join Ford Road.
The Causeway Roundabout to Crossbush Roundabout – Eastbound Diversion: Vehicles travelling eastbound on the A27 will be diverted off at Ford Roundabout to join Ford Road, Church Lane and at the 1st roundabout take the 1st left to join the A259. Follow the A259 eastbound to Wick Roundabout. Take the 2nd exit to join the A284, Lyminster Road. Continue on Lyminster Road to re-join the A27 at Crossbush Roundabout to continue their journey eastbound.
Westbound Diversion: Follow the above diversion in reverse.
Crossbush Roundabout to Clapham Interchange – Eastbound Diversion: Vehicles traveling eastbound on the A27 will be diverted southbound onto the A284 at Crossbush Roundabout. At Wick Roundabout turn left to join the A259. Follow the A259, Roundstone Bypass. At the roundabout take the 1st left to join the A280 northbound. Continue on the A280 to re-join the A27 at Clapham Interchange to continue their journey eastbound.
