WE CONTINUE TO BELIEVE THAT MAGENTA IS THE BEST OPTION
If you participated in the Highways England A27 Arundel Bypass consultation in Autumn 2019 you may have recently received a letter from Highways England advising you that they had discovered some errors, “in many cases minor technical details” in the original documents. To rectify this they were publishing corrected documents. These are available at Arundel Library, in the Town Hall and online at www.highwaysengland.co.uk/a27arundel.
Until 1st March respondents may go online and advise Highways England if they wish to change their previous response in the light of the new information.
The Council has reviewed the new information. There is no change to the six routes or to the overall Highways England assessment of the options. The changes are corrections to points of detail.
Therefore the Council continues to believe that the Magenta route is the best solution, and we have advised Highways England of that conclusion.
