Arundel Speedwatch 2025 Update:
18 sessions, 2248 vehicles monitored, 407 speeders recorded.
Arundel Speedwatch has had a very good first year. We got into full swing in August and we now have a team of 12 volunteers. In 2025 we held 18 Speedwatch road sessions, monitored 2,248 vehicles over several sites around town, and more than 407 letters have been sent to speeding drivers.
The community response has been overwhelmingly positive, with expressions of appreciation coming in from residents, pedestrians, and drivers. Almost all of them have said that they want to see more being done to stop speeding in Arundel.
2026 can be an even better year. With more volunteers we can do so much more and can have an even bigger impact. If you’d like to get involved and join the team, please email admin@arundeltowncouncil.gov.uk.
