Arundel Farmers Market is held in the lower High Street, on the Quayside and, in the summer months, in Jubilee Gardens on Mill Road.
The Lower High Street is closed to traffic from 6am-3.30pm on market days (6am-5.00pm in August and December), with a two-way traffic reversal on the Quayside to allow access in/out of Crown Yard car park.
Parking bays around the Town Square, outside Partners café and on the Quayside are suspended on market days to enable our volunteers to safely set up the market, and operate the two-way traffic reversal on the Quayside.
The bollards in River Road remain up, with access for residents living west of the bollards via the upper High Street and Tarrant Street. See the traffic route map below showing diversion routes.
Access to the Norfolk Arms car park for guests and taxis is maintained via our marshals by Arundel Post Office, please download details of the access route below.
Buses which normally stop outside the Norfolk Arms Hotel and on the Quayside are re-routed via the Causeway and Queen Street and turn around in Mill Road car park. A temporary bus stop operates from opposite the Co-op on Queen Street.
