Arundel’s Act of Remembrance will take place at the War Memorial in the High Street.
The procession from the top of the High Street will be from 10.45am, and will begin with soldiers from the 137 (Java) Battery 12th Regiment Royal Artillery marching from the upper Castle gates, followed by the Council procession to the War Memorial to begin the short service.
Please be aware that there will be two loud cannon noises at 11.00am and 11.02am to signify the beginning and end of the two minutes’ silence.
Parking bays around the War Memorial are suspended for the duration of the road closure between 10am-12 noon. Please could any vehicles be removed by 10am – this is to ensure access is maintained for emergency vehicles and the safety of the public.
