We’re hoping for a mild season, but planning for wet weather! West Sussex teams have been busy clearing drains, ditches, and trimming hedges to keep roads and rights of way safe.
Most watercourses and footpaths run through private land, so landowners have a riparian responsibility to keep them clear and flowing to prevent flooding. Please check your ditches, culverts, and paths for blockages as you tidy up for winter.
