Arundel Speedwatch was launched in May of this year, and after a period of setting up the admin, sites and training, we were able to get into full swing in August. The team carries out sessions at various locations and times across Arundel and currently comprises 8 active members.
Since then, our dedicated volunteers have been out at least once per week on average and have reported more than 360 speeding drivers!
The response from people in the community has been overwhelmingly positive, with many, many people stopping to tell us that they appreciate our efforts and want to see more being done to stop speeding in Arundel.
