PUBLIC QUESTIONS – WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU
Arundel Town Council welcomes questions, comments, concerns and suggestions from residents at any time.
You do not need to wait for a Council meeting to raise an issue. In fact, the quickest and often most effective way to get a response is to contact the Town Council Office or a Councillor directly. Questions can be submitted by email, telephone, letter, in person, or through any Town Councillor.

Council and Committee meetings include a Public Questions item which provides an opportunity for residents to raise matters with Councillors in a public forum. To help ensure that questions can be properly considered, questions raised during Public Questions should normally relate to an item on the published agenda.
For Full Council meetings, the Chair may, at their discretion, allow questions on matters that are not included on the agenda. If you wish to raise a non-agenda item, please notify the Town Officer at least two clear working days before the meeting so that the Chair can consider the request.
Council meetings are primarily held to conduct Council business and make decisions. Whilst all questions are welcomed and considered, there is no requirement for a response to be provided during the meeting itself. Where appropriate, a response may be provided at the meeting, in writing afterwards, or through a separate discussion with the relevant Councillor or Officer.
The Council believes that good communication with residents should take place throughout the year, not just at formal meetings. Whether you have a question, concern, idea or suggestion, Councillors and Officers are always happy to hear from you and encourage you to get in touch.
If you have a question, please ask it. We are here to help and would much rather hear from residents directly than have questions go unanswered.
