A Community Highway Scheme on the A29 Bury Road and Bury Hill, Bury has been successfully completed. The project introduced a reduced speed limit from 50mph to 40mph, enhancing road safety for the local community.
New electronic vehicle-activated signs have been installed to inform drivers of the new speed limit. The project also included carriageway resurfacing and the addition of new speed limit roundels on the road surface. This aims to reduce collisions and improve road safety.
