Arundel Tidal Defences Scheme Update – 13 March 2020
All 3 directors have now approved £2 million of additional money to support a revised scheme design for River Road. This is in addition to the technical approval that was granted last week.
At this time it is not possible for us to confirm when we expect to re-start construction. We are looking at the timing of activities that would enable construction to start and are reviewing the permissions and licenses that may be required to manage potential impacts on the river environment. We will continue to work with our partners about our plans and how the community could be affected.
